If the Ridgeview Wolf Pack were feeling good off their 65-41 takedown of the Bakersfield Drillers on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Ridgeview took a 63-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Monache on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Ty Baxter was his usual excellent self, scoring 33 points along with three steals for Monache. Baxter has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Jaydan Garcia was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Ridgeview now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Monache, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
Ridgeview will square off against Washington Union at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Washington Union is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. Monache will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dinuba at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th.
