There's no place like home for Omaha Northwest, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Lincoln High Links by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Omaha Northwest didn't let Lincoln High take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 32-30, 25-23.

Malea Robinson paced Omaha Northwest's offense, picking up six kills. Robinson got some help from Makynzie Mclaws and her eight assists. Finally, Na'Zjae Hubbard kept Omaha Northwest's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Omaha Northwest's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Lincoln High, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

Omaha Northwest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Benson on the 18th. As for Lincoln High, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Lincoln Lutheran on the 19th.
