Ava Meyer gave up the fewest hits she has since back in March on Tuesday. She turned in nothing short of a gem, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Meyer's effort led Carlyle over Wesclin and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
