Basketball Recap: Harvest-Westminster's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy on Wednesday, Harvest-Westminster came back down to earth. The Warrior-Lions fell just short of the St. Edward Green Wave by a score of 53-51 on Friday. The Warrior-Lions lost against the Green Wave in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 82-57 score last time.

Despite the loss, Harvest-Westminster still got an impressive performance from Zander Langfeld, who posted 16 points and five rebounds. Langfeld is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. Ryan Foster was another key player, putting up ten points and five boards.

St. Edward's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jt Birns, who put up 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Pfeiffer, who had 12 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Harvest-Westminster fell to 2-1. As for St. Edward, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Harvest-Westminster will be taking part in a tournament against Aurora Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. St. Edward has already played their next game (against Harvest Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
