Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Loris walked away with it. They walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Waccamaw Warriors on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Loris pushed their record up to 15-11-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Waccamaw, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Loris has already played their next match, an 11-0 defeat against Aynor on the 16th. Waccamaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
