They had to suffer through a rough 58-12 loss at the hands of Washington School for the Deaf. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Utah School for the Deaf & Blind came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 140th in Utah, while Washington School for the Deaf is ranked 351st in Washington).
Telos dropped their record down to 0-15 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road. As for Utah School for the Deaf & Blind, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
Telos beat Utah School for the Deaf & Blind 49-41 in their previous matchup back in January of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Telos since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
