Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were beaten by Rowe 93-31. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest has struggled against Rowe recently, as their matchup on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
McAllen is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest, they dropped their record down to 2-20 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Everything came up roses for McAllen against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 72-34 victory. With McAllen ahead 42-16 at the half, the match was all but over already.
