Quad Cities Christian fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back  wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against the Tri-State Christian Huskies by a score of  31-19  on Friday.  Quad Cities Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Abi Agbezouhlon led the charge by  putting up six points in addition to seven  steals and six  boards. The dominant performance gave  Agbezouhlon a new career-high in  steals. Another player making a difference was  Jada Britton, who  posted seven  points along with six  rebounds and four  steals.
 Several Huskies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Makayla Zelle, who  earned seven points and seven  boards. Zelle is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last three games she's  played.  Catherine Benedict was another key player,  scoring three  points and three  steals.
Quad Cities Christian's victory  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 8-14. As for Tri-State Christian, they dropped their record down to 4-8 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  at home.
 Quad Cities Christian will venture away from home to  square off against East Moline Christian  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Tri-State Christian, they will welcome Faith Christian  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
