Kinley Fife made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 15 over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 18 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Abigail Freeman, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Hannah Brown, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Good Samaritan HomeSchool always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Acadiana Christian only posted an OBP of .200.
Christian Home Educators Fellowship never got on the board in their matchup back in March, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Acadiana Christian back in March. They put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 22-10 victory.
