Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Littlefield). They were the clear victor by a 23-2 margin over the Dimmitt Bobcats on Wednesday. Natalia Sanchez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs, four runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs.

As for Dimmitt, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Dimmitt Bobcats challenge Slaton Tigers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Slaton will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Dimmitt surely won't give up without a fight.
