The Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs pushed their score all the way to 63 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 81-63 fall against Memphis Business Academy. Despite running the score up even higher than they did back in November (55), Raleigh-Egypt still had to take the loss.
Among those leading the charge was Randy White Jr, who scored 28 points. Cartrail Jones was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Raleigh-Egypt now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Memphis Business Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Raleigh-Egypt will take on Evansville Memorial in a holiday battle at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at. As for Memphis Business Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Beech at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Beech will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
