The Yulee Hornets entered their tilt with the West Nassau Warriors with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Yulee breezed by the Warriors on the road to the tune of 60-30 on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Yulee, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Yulee was led to victory by Logan Sellers and Alex Naumow. Sellers scored 11 points along with three steals, while Naumow scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sellers has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jycere Richardson, who scored six points along with two steals.
The victory got Yulee back to even at 12-12. As for West Nassau, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.
Yulee will head out on the road to challenge the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Nassau, they will face off against the Trojans at TBD on Tuesday. Ribault presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Warriors in Florida (the Trojans are ranked 73rd, while the Warriors are ranked 739th).
