Jamison Seese Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Thursday, Heritage got the W thanks in part to Jamison Seese playing the best football he has all season. Seese threw for 212 yards and seven touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown. He has become a key player for Heritage: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
The win got Heritage back to even at 4-4. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Eagles takes on Highlands Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Tanner Terch Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
On Thursday, Heritage got the W thanks in part to Tanner Terch playing the best football he has all season. Terch picked up 135 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 70 yards.
For the season, Terch has caught 10 touchdowns while averaging 93.4 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had four receiving touchdowns.

Ponderosa Gets a Boost from Veazy in 42-14 Win
De'Alcapon Veazy was a major factor in Ponderosa's victory over Golden on Friday. Veazy turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 169 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.
Ponderosa's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Veazy and Ponderosa will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Bear Creek at 4:00 p.m.

Landon Kalsbeck and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Dakota Ridge picked up their seventh consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Landon Kalsbeck. Kalsbeck did his part (and then some), rushing for 61 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while also picking up 46 receiving yards for the 'W'. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up 0.5 sacks and making six total tackles.
Dakota Ridge pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Kalsbeck and Dakota Ridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Golden at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Brooks Hamlett Rounds Out Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Brooks Hamlett of Highlands Ranch. Hamlett picked up 19 receiving yards and a touchdown.
This is the second loss in a row for Highlands Ranch and nudges their season record down to 5-3. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Falcons faces off against Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
