Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Starts Season with Win Against Hanks

Jefferson had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hanks Knights on Tuesday. The Silver Foxes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Jefferson walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19, 24-26, 25-20.

Hanks' loss came despite strong showings from Sarai Flores and Ariana Guillen. Flores had 21 digs and two aces, while Guillen had six digs and two aces.

Jefferson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Bowie on the 14th. As for Hanks, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Whitehouse on the 14th.
