Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cypress Ridge). They enjoyed a cozy 77-58 win over the Northbrook Raiders on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Cypress Ridge's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Northbrook, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Cypress Ridge will finish 2024 at home by hosting Cesar E. Chavez at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Cypress Ridge has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Northbrook, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Memorial at 12:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
