Softball Recap: Sullivan's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but Sullivan unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 9-4 to the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes. If the Redskins were looking for revenge after losing 12-0 to the Wooden Shoes when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sullivan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was J'Nai Webb, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one double. That stolen base was Webb's first of the season.

Sullivan's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Teutopolis, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sullivan will take on LeRoy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Teutopolis, they will face off against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
