Greenwood is 1-9 against the Dons since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Greenwood Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Columbus Catholic Dons at 7:15 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
After only 11 points in their last matchup, Greenwood made sure to put some points up on the board against the Rockets on Thursday. Greenwood put the hurt on the Rockets with a sharp 55-31 victory. Given Greenwood's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Rockets are ranked 358th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Columbus Catholic had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Colby by a score of 52-43 on Thursday.
Greenwood has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Columbus Catholic's record is now 8-12.
Greenwood was able to grind out a solid win over the Dons in their previous meeting back in January, winning 36-29. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greenwood since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
