A Season-Best Performance from Parris Peacock Leads Liberty over JW North
Liberty was led to victory by Parris Peacock, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Peacock rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Liberty moved to 3-5 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak. Peacock and Liberty will be playing in front of their home fans against Rancho Verde at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Underclassman Josiah Dupree Boyd Comes Up Big Against Orange Vista
While Vista del Lago couldn't topple Orange Vista on Thursday, it's impossible to ignore the impact made by underclassman Josiah Dupree Boyd. Nobody could stop Dupree Boyd as he rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 163 yards and two touchdowns. His longest rush was for an impressive 56 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Vista del Lago's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2. Dupree Boyd and Vista del Lago will take on Paloma Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Liberty's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Trent Hallis
Trent Hallis helped snap Liberty's five-game losing streak. On Thursday Hallis rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks and making three total tackles.
On the year, Hallis has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 62.5 rushing yards per game.

Iese Magalei Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Thursday, Orange Vista got the W thanks in part to Iese Magalei playing the best football he has all season. Magalei picked up three sacks and made eight total tackles.
