Scio's Anthony Johnson recorded the longest rushing play in 3A PacWest this season in his game against Sutherlin last week. Johnson's team topped the Bulldogs as he sprinted for 83 yards on the play and finished with 184 in all.
Blanchet Catholic moved up to 100 from 136 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Cavaliers were able to make move up by besting Rainier 15-12.
Salem Academy's Carlin Ables and Luke Westby have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Ables has thrown for 93 yards this season, while Westby has 2 catches for 42 yards. Scio's Johnson leads the league in rushing yards with 218.
Harrisburg was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to third in 3A PacWest. The Eagles vanquished Glide 33-0 earlier in the week.
