Apex's game  last Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Monday. Everything went their way against the Green Level Gators as the Apex Cougars made off with  a  15-7 win. The  victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won seven in a row.
 Aleyna Ortiz was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits over six innings pitched. Ortiz was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing  Two bases. while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Maggie Austin and  Leah Kendall did most of the damage at the plate:  Austin  went 4-for-5 with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  RBI, while  Kendall  scored four  runs and  stole  Three bases. while going 4-for-5. What's more,  Kendall posted two  RBI, the most she's  had since back in April of 2024. As for Green Level, they will look to defend their home field  on Wednesday against Millbrook  at 4:30  p.m. Millbrook will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Green Level surely won't give up without a fight.
