The St. Pius X Warriors posted their biggest win yet this season on Saturday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 50-23 victory over Visitation Academy. With St. Pius X ahead 37-8 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Pius X to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kate Sell, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Caroline McCoy was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
St. Pius X's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8. As for Visitation Academy, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
St. Pius X will look to defend their home court on Friday against St. Teresa's Academy at 6:30 p.m. Visitation Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Ladue Horton Watkins at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Ladue Horton Watkins presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Visitation Academy in Missouri (Ladue Horton Watkins is ranked 119th, while Visitation Academy is ranked 369th).
