Basketball Recap: Madison Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Madison extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping them up to 6-2. They took down the Warren Warriors 56-40. That's two games straight that the Mavericks have won by exactly 16 points.

Madison found their leader in sophomore Branden Pryor, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Those 13 boards set a new season-high mark for Pryor. Josiah Fite-Brown was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Madison smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in seven consecutive games.

As for Warren, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-4. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Warren still got an impressive performance from DONOVAN BOLDEN, who posted ten points along with seven boards and four blocks. BOLDEN is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was JAYLEN LACOUR, who put up nine points and six rebounds.

Looking ahead, Madison will take on Rockport-Fulton in a tournament on the 4th. As for Warren, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-42 loss against Central Catholic on the 29th.
