Volleyball Recap: Kingwood Park Has No Trouble Against Summer Creek

Kingwood Park made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Summer Creek, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in March, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 27-25, 25-22.

Kingwood Park now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Summer Creek, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kingwood Park is set to square off against their familiar foe Atascocita at 4:30 p.m. on the 10th. Meanwhile, Summer Creek will face off against rival Harmony School of Advancement at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
