Whitehorse and Green River are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. The Whitehorse Raiders will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Green River Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Lyric Phillips was his usual excellent self, scoring 28 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Whitehorse's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Larenz Tsosie, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Green River waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They strolled past Pinnacle with points to spare, taking the game 65-47. That's two games straight that Green River has won by exactly 18 points.
It was another big night for Luis Hernandez, who scored 24 points. He hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Jason Hernandez was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

Keep an eye on the arc in Tuesday's match: Whitehorse have made nailing deep shots look easy this year this season, having only averaged 5.5 threes per game. It's a different story for Green River, though, as they've been averaging only 3.4 threes per game. Given Whitehorse's sizeable advantage in that area, Green River will need to find a way to close that gap.
