After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Silver Lake Regional, Marshfield was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Plymouth North Eagles as they made off with a 7-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Caroline Arruda spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Marshfield let Sarah McIntyre and Madelyn Whitaker run wild.
