The Roosevelt Eagles will square off against the Crane Cranes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
With a playoff game on the line, Roosevelt rose to the challenge on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 35-14 margin over Friona. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Roosevelt.
Nate Casarez had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 173 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. Casarez's longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards.
Meanwhile, Crane waltzed into Friday's game with six straight wins but they left with seven. They breezed by San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy on the road to the tune of 56-0.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 8-3.
