Roy received a tough blow as they fell 50-35 to Woods Cross. Roy has not had much luck with Woods Cross recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Analeise Maharaj and Jerzee Hart certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Maharaj scored 12 points along with two steals, while Hart scored nine points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Maharaj has scored all season.
Roy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Woods Cross, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Roy will head out on the road to face off against Bountiful at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Bountiful will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for Woods Cross, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northridge at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Northridge is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
