Raleigh-Egypt's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cassie Bullard, who scored 21 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Bullard has scored at least 25% of Raleigh-Egypt's points. Another player making a difference was Travion Baker, who scored 18 points.
Several Trojans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brandon Payne, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Those five assists set a new season-high mark for him. Tayshaun Dye was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Raleigh-Egypt is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Millington Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.
