The Richfield Spartans are taking a road trip to  challenge the Breck Mustangs  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday.
Things were looking good for Richfield after they put the first  run on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell  8-5 to Park Center/Columbia Heights/Maranatha. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Breck had just enough and edged out Park Center/Columbia Heights/Maranatha  2-1 on Thursday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Mustangs.
 The team  relied heavily on  Owen Van Horn, who  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases and two  runs. Those  two  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high.
 Breck's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Richfield, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
