The Boiling Springs Bubblers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Carlisle at home and fell 76-48. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Boiling Springs has scored all season.
Several Bubblers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ethan Yenser, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Brayden Richie, who scored 13 points.
Boiling Springs' loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Carlisle, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
Boiling Springs and Bishop McDevitt will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Carlisle, they will head out on the road to face off against State College at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. State College will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 246th, while Carlisle is ranked 20th).
