The Mississippi School for the Deaf Bulldogs's five-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They blew past Kentucky School for the Deaf 42-5 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Mississippi School for the Deaf has managed all season.
Mississippi School for the Deaf found their leader in underclassman DeSiare Ingram, who scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ingram has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aimaya Brand, who scored eight points.
Mississippi School for the Deaf's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Kentucky School for the Deaf, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mississippi School for the Deaf won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Louisiana School for the Deaf at 5:15 p.m. on January 26th. Louisiana School for the Deaf comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. Kentucky School for the Deaf will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Frederick Fraize at 5:00 p.m. on February 6th.
