The Fellowship Academy Mustangs lost against the Lubbock Christian Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Fellowship Academy was outmatched by the Eagles on the road and fell 87-26. Fellowship Academy has not had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, Fellowship Academy still got an impressive performance from William Hornbuckle, who scored 12 points along with two steals. Hornbuckle is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.
Fellowship Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Lubbock Christian, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 23-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fellowship Academy will take on the Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lubbock Christian, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on February 9th.
