With a playoff game on the line, the Aledo Bearcats rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Eagles, posting a 56-21 victory on the road. Aledo might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Hauss Hejny continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 105 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 203 yards and two touchdowns. Davhon Keys also deserves a shout-out for his three touchdowns.
The win for Aledo keeps them at an undefeated 14-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.36 points. As for Abilene, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3.
Aledo will look to defend their home field on Friday against Forney at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Forney: 16.1, Aledo: 17.1) so any points scored will be well earned. Abilene does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
