They secured a 43-39 W over Hamilton Township. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Liberty Union also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Liberty Union can attribute much of their success to Morgan Love, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. Love also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. Brooklyn Angelo was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds.
Liberty Union's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-10. As for Hamilton Township, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty Union will take on Bloom-Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bloom-Carroll presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Liberty Union in Ohio (Bloom-Carroll is ranked 115th, while Liberty Union is ranked 403rd). As for Hamilton Township, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Circleville at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Circleville will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
