On Friday, the Faith Lutheran Crusaders faced the Centennial Bulldogs in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Faith Lutheran was beaten by Centennial 88-50. Faith Lutheran was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  50-25.
 Faith Lutheran's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Tamiah Harrison, who  scored 18 points. Harrison continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Raina Forgue, who  scored 14 points along with two  steals.
 Faith Lutheran  struggled to get the ball back on offense and  finished the game with only two  offensive rebounds. That's the fewest  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 Faith Lutheran now  has a losing record at 8-9. As for Centennial, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with that  victory, which was their 13th straight  at home.
 Faith Lutheran's road trip will continue as they head out to face Shadow Ridge at 6:30  p.m.  on January 22nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Nevada (Shadow Ridge is ranked tenth, while Faith Lutheran is ranked 17th). Centennial won't have much time to rest: their next  contest is against Bishop Gorman at 4:30  p.m.  on January 20th. Bishop Gorman is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
