Evergreen Park has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the De La Salle Meteors at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Evergreen Park strolled past Thornton Fractional South with points to spare, taking the game 61-42.
Meanwhile, De La Salle scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Providence-St. Mel 88-48 at home. The victory was some much needed relief for De La Salle as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Evergreen Park is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for De La Salle, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.
