Last Friday, Canby was fully in charge, breezing past the Spartans 83-39 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Canby has managed all season.
Dylan Nelson had a dynamite game for Canby, scoring 21 points. It was the first time this season that Nelson scored 15 or more points. Jack Brauckmiller was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Parkrose beat the Mustangs 62-55 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Parkrose.
Canby's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Parkrose, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season.
