After a string of six wins, Conroe's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes, falling 78-42. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 25th).

Conroe's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Fort Bend Hightower, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-3.

Conroe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 50-48 victory against Randle on the 30th. As for Fort Bend Hightower, they have also already played their next game, a 66-43 defeat against West Brook on the 30th.
