Brody Metting Goes Supernova in Yorktown Victory
Starting off the list is Yorktown's Brody Metting, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Metting rushed for 179 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 65 yards and a touchdown.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Yorktown, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. Metting and Yorktown will head out on the road to face off against Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Tyler Pawelek Leads Falls City over Louise
On Friday, Falls City got the W thanks in part to Tyler Pawelek playing the best football he has all season. Pawelek rushed for 109 yards and four touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory (which was Falls City's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Pawelek and Falls City will venture away from home to challenge Shiner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Mckenzie Yanta Crosses Big Stat Threshold
The second Yorktown player making an appearance here is Mckenzie Yanta, and for good reason. He rushed for 124 yards and three touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (100.7). His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 120 rushing yards.
For the season, Yanta has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 100.7 rushing yards per game.

Johnson Made His Presence Known in Falls City's 48-7 Win
Another Falls City player making an appearance on this list is Braylon Johnson. He rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 53 yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 103 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Johnson must have Louise's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Johnson rushed for 114 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 112 yards on only eight passes the last time he and the Hornets duked it out back in October of 2023.

Rylan Rau Makes It Three for Yorktown
Another Yorktown player making an appearance on this list is Rylan Rau. He picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made eight total tackles (4.0 for loss).
