On Friday, School of the Woods earned a 37-26 win over Harmony School of Innovation Sugar Land. The win made it back-to-back wins for School of the Woods.
It was another big night for Savannah Phan, who scored 25 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of School of the Woods' points. Maria Romero was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six steals.
The victory got School of the Woods back to even at 3-3. As for Harmony School of Innovation Sugar Land, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
School of the Woods will head out on the road to face off against Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Varsity Opponent has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 12. Harmony School of Innovation Sugar Land will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bob Hope at 5:30 p.m. on January 23, 2024.
