Red Bank Catholic not only won  on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win  since May 7, 2024. Everything went their way against the Freehold Township Patriots as they made off with  a  9-2 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Caseys, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Lily Hagan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on five hits and racked up ten Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Brianna Santangelo and  Grace Lombardi did most of the damage at the plate:  Santangelo  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  RBI,  and one  double, while  Lombardi  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI and one  triple. That's the most  RBI  Santangelo has posted since back in May of 2024.  Jayden Kane was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run.
Red Bank Catholic has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
 Coming up, Red Bank Catholic will challenge Mount St. Dominic Academy at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Freehold Township, they are taking a road trip to  take on Howell  at 3:45  p.m.  on Friday.
