Taft's Abraham Thomas recorded the longest rushing play in West Valley this season in his game against Gardena last week. Thomas scampered for 90 yards on the play and finished with 230 on the day as his team topped the Panthers.
Granada Hills scaled the state rankings by moving to 572 from 648 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Highlanders climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Canoga Park 29-19.
