Broadwater Academy was led to victory by Leah Smith, who turned in her biggest game of the season on Tuesday. Smith went 6 for 9 on her way to 12 points in addition to ten rebounds and eight blocks. Thanks to that strong showing, she's now averaging 2.2 blocks per game. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in blocks.

Smith and Broadwater Academy will look to defend their home court on Friday against Isle of Wight Academy at 4:30 p.m. The Vikings got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Chargers, probably because Smith had a solid game then too: she posted ten points along with eight steals and seven boards.
