Brandon is 8-2 against Northwest Rankin since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Brandon Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Northwest Rankin Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Brandon has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 254 points over their last four games.
Even though Pearl scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, Brandon still came out on top. Brandon took their match against Pearl 66-59.
It was another big night for Braylon Barnes, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds and three steals. He hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Kori Taylor, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Northwest Rankin came up short against Petal on Friday and fell 59-52.
Brandon has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Northwest Rankin, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
Brandon came out on top in a nail-biter against Northwest Rankin when the teams last played on January 5th, sneaking past 48-46. Will Brandon repeat their success, or does Northwest Rankin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
