It was a good run, but the Union County Yellowjackets unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 56-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Woodruff. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Union County in their matchups with Woodruff: they've now lost three in a row.
Several Yellowjackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Seven Eison, who scored 16 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ej Jeter, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Union County's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-15. As for Woodruff, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.
Union County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Woodruff also has no future games currently scheduled.
