All Saints Central won against North Huron on Monday with 13 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Cougars' pitchers stepped up to hand the Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals a 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won four games by eight runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was All Saints Central's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Whittemore-Prescott, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. All Saints Central will host Caseville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Whittemore-Prescott, they will square off against Hale at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
