Kinley Fife was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 19 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.
Fife wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Brown, who went 2-for-3 with one run.
