Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Milton walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 41-27 victory over the Masconomet Regional Chieftains on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won five games in a row.

Milton's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Masconomet Regional, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Milton will challenge North Attleborough at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rocketeers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Masconomet Regional, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Northeast Metro RVT at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th.
