Foresthill moved up to 844 from 877 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Sacramento Metro. The Wildfires were able to make the jump by beating Delta 52-0.
Foresthill made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,729 from 12,199. The improvement came about via a 52-0 victory over the Saints last week.
Justin Rodegerdts was the best wideout in the league this week as Woodland Christian beat Cristo Rey. Rodegerdts racked up one reception for 47 yards. Kameron Arnold helped Woodland Christian's passing attack out by catching two balls for 33 yards.
Carter Winn was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 164 yards on 11 carries as the Cardinals bested Cristo Rey. Chance Stocking also contributed to the rushing game with 79 yards on the ground.
Tommy Sawyer put up the best numbers through the air as Jim Herlehy's team defeated Delta. He finished with four completions for 33 yards and three touchdowns.
Woodland Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cardinals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Josh Truesdell has thrown for 566 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Arnold has 14 catches for 361 yards. Winn leads the league in rushing with 498 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Woodland Christian takes on Valley Christian. Bruce Pielstick's team is currently in first, while the Lions are in third.
