The St. Mary's Eagles lost against the Scammon Bay Eagles back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. St. Mary's was dealt a 92-47 loss at the hands of Scammon Bay. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points St. Mary's has scored all season.
Scammon Bay had a senior duo take command as Josiah Sundown scored 32 points and Stewie Sundown scored 20 points. Sundown hasn't dropped below 16 points for seven straight games. Aiden George was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
This is the second loss in a row for St. Mary's and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Scammon Bay, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-3.
St. Mary's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Scammon Bay will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on February 15th. Scammon Bay has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 502 points over their last seven contests.
